How much does a ticket cost?
Our tickets are priced at €19.95 and include the use of our headphones, a blanket and a comfortable seat.
Are food and drinks available?
Of course! We have a bar where you can order drinks and we have fresh popcorn from our lovely popcorn machine. Therefore, you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks.
Are the seats assigned?
Seats are not assigned, so we recommend arriving early to get the best seats.
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
You can only purchase tickets on our website until the movie begins. However, we recommend purchasing them in advance, as they tend to sell out quickly!
Can I get a refund?
If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours before the movie. We can then exchange your tickets for another screening. In case the screening is cancelled due to weather conditions, we will inform and refund everyone.
Are children allowed?
If your kids can sit still for two hours, don't run around and don't break anything, they are more than welcome. Keep in mind that most movies have age restrictions.
Do I have to print my ticket?
No, the digital ticket you received in your inbox is all we need. It will be checked at the entrance by one of our charming staff members.
Will photos or videos be taken?
During some of our events, photos and videos are taken for promotional purposes. If you are not comfortable with this, please let us know upon arrival.
Are there toilets?
Of course! And everyone would appreciate it if you left them as clean as you found them ;).
What does solax mean?
We're glad you asked! Our name is inspired by the French filmmaker Alice Guy-Blaché. From 1896 to 1906, Alice was (probably) the only female movie director in the world.
She began as Léon Gaumont's secretary and made her first movie in 1896. After that first movie, she directed and produced or supervised nearly six hundred silent movies. In 1910, she started her own movie studio, Solax Studios. Alice's company boosted the careers of several actors and turned performers such as Darwin Karr and Blanche Cornwall into stars. In short, Alice was a boss, but people often forget how great she was. That's why we've made it our mission to ensure that her story is told.
