Amy Mitchell appears to have the ideal life: a stable job, responsible children and a home in order. However, she is exhausted from trying to be the perfect mother everyone expects her to be. When she reaches her limit, she meets Kiki, shy and overburdened, and Carla, uninhibited and rebellious. Together they form an explosive trio who decide to challenge the school rules, the demands of home and above all Gwendolyn, the strict leader of the mothers“ association. Through parties, craziness and screw-ups, they discover that being imperfect can be a lot more fun. The confrontation with the ”perfect mothers" triggers a war as absurd as it is hilarious. Amidst the chaos, Amy learns that relaxing and accepting herself as she is makes her a better mother and a happier woman.
