Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl), a young woman who has just gone through a break-up, meets Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher), a charming and seemingly perfect man, while on holiday on the French Riviera. What Jen doesn't know is that Spencer is actually a hit man who has decided to leave his dangerous life behind to marry her and make a fresh start.
Three years later, now married and living in a quiet residential neighbourhood, their seemingly ideal life is thrown into chaos when they discover that someone has put a price on Spencer's head. Suddenly, the couple find themselves being chased by neighbours and acquaintances who turn out to be undercover hitmen. Between shootouts, chases and absurd situations, Jen and Spencer will have to learn to trust each other as they try to save their lives... and their marriage!
